ABOUT THE COMPANY

This well-respected employer of choice is specialised in vision care with a comprehensive surgical solution that includes medical device implants, surgical consumables, specialised instruments and advanced capital equipment that are all utilised in a variety of clinical situations and procedures.
They have recently launched a new minimally invasive prosthetic in Australia following successful international launches that have the potential to offer patient's significantly improved outcomes and have created a new team to spearhead this launch into the  AU market.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Utilise your rapport building and relationship building skills with key cataract and glaucoma specialists to create a pathway to launch this new device into their clinical practice and provide on-going OR and practice support as required.
  • Not a typical territory management role for implants driven by case support - you will take customers on the journey from initial interest to successful post-training accreditation and successful surgical outcomes for their patients. 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Must have at least 3 years implantable device sales experience  with exceptional sales results  ( surgical ophthalmology preferred )
  • Can demonstrate how you work with surgeons to deliver an effective value proposition around new technologies and gain commitment 
  • Strong territory management skills to identify which customers to select for training and to manage your time effectively whilst prospecting 
  • Coachable and collaborative you are keen to learn and share your success and best practice within a tight-knit team
  • Results and outcome orientated you are also not afraid of setbacks, delays or rejection when it comes to building your territory like your own business
