Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected private hospital operator, Pindara Private Hospital is centrally located in Benowa on the Gold Coast.
Pindara Private Hospital is undergoing redevelopment and is currently providing 348 licensed acute care beds and extensive on site facilities including a 24 hour Emergency Department, 22 Operating Theatres including our Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Oncology, Maternity and Paediatric units, Rehabilitation and Renal Dialysis, a state of the art Cardiac Catheter Laboratory / Hybrid Theatre, in-house Pharmacy, comprehensive Pathology and X-Ray including Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI and Nuclear Medicine imaging and a number of on-site consulting suites. The campus also includes a 5 level medical specialists suite building.

Part time opportunities available
The Endoscopy Unit at Pindara Private Hospital consists of two procedure rooms and a first and second stage recovery area. The Unit provides a complete service from admission through to discharge.
An exciting opportunity now exists for a dynamic and experienced Anaesthetic / Post Anaesthetic Care Unit Registered Nurse to join the Endoscopy team. A Part-time employment opportunity is currently available with contracted hours to be determined in line with the successful applicant and the needs of the business. Shifts will cover a 7-day rotating roster including participation in on-call rostering.
The Position
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be supported and guided by a close knit team to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. You will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
The Person
You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Recent Anaesthetic /Post Anaesthetic Care nursing experience within an acute care setting
- Excellent work ethic and time management skills
- High level problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work as a cohesive team member
- Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
Endoscopy nursing experience is desirable
Prior to commencement you will be required to provide a National Police Check at your own expense.
