Rehab OT required for an 8 week contract in Mount Gambier, SA.

You will be expected to utilise preventative, early intervention and treatment approaches to deliver a multi-disciplinary rehab service.

Duties

Managing a complex caseload in the community
Day to day on the ward include shower assessments, UL assessments and programs/ therapy, stroke assessments, kitchen assessments, cognitive assessments and therapy, home visits and prescribing home modifications and equipment, running of breakfast group, UL group and other groups, working closely with AHA’s and delegating as appropriate.
Attending case conference meetings, family meetings, assisting with discharge planning.

Requirements

Tertiary OT qualification
NPC / DCSI
Drivers Licence
Flexible (you may be required to work out of hours on occasion)
