Purpose of Position
To provide a high quality service to the patients being treated by South West Sydney Hand Centre in a supervised position. To receive experience and training suitable for a future Hand Surgical Specialist.
Selection Criteria
Current medical practitioner, registered, or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) FRACS in Plastic Surgery or Orthopaedic Surgery Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or legal entitlement to work in Australia. Overseas applicants can apply however are solely responsible for arranging their work visas Previous Plastic Surgical or Orthopaedic experience. Some previous Hand Surgical experience Demonstrated team work, time management and problem solving skills Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to participate in overtime and on-call rosters as required
