The Project Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management of allocated projects in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) within the agreed timeframes, budget, quality and resources to deliver the organisation’s objectives. Working with their respective Executive Sponsor and Key Stakeholders (incl. respective Governance Groups), the Project Manager will lead the development of program planning documentation and program delivery that best supports successful outcomes and realisation of benefits, aligned to the SESLHD strategic priorities. The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects to ensure that the project produces the required outputs, outcomes and capabilities that will enable the delivery of projected benefits. 1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, or business management or related subject, project management certification (e.g. Prince2), with 2-3 years experience within a project management role and/or health related area, or a combination of study and work experience. 2. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation 3. Demonstrated high level negotiation and facilitation skills, and commitment to customer service with highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills 4. Effective time management and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders 5. Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position) 6. Advanced Excel capabilities or alternative reporting tools (e.g. Access, RPM, etc.) to design, build and operate reporting tools with the capability to translate the reporting needs of PMO stakeholders and senior management into effective reporting templates 7. Ability to work closely with users/subject matter experts to identify and document their needs to deliver substantial outcomes 8. Understanding of Hospital and Local Health District operational, quality and financial key performance indicators Need more information?
