The West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) provides a variety of high-quality healthcare across Baw Baw Shire. As many local residents will know, WGHG has exciting plans for the future and to assist them on this journey, an experienced Supply Manager is required to join the Corporate Services Team.
Delivering operational excellence of the supply function including planning, contracting, procurement, inventory management and information systems, you will also be responsible for:
- The strategic management and leadership of the supply team
- Managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, couriers and Health Purchasing Victoria
- Managing WGHG motor vehicle fleet, including the coordination of purchasing, maintenance and disposal of motor vehicles
- Coordinating a centralised supply operation involving the efficient purchasing, receiving, inspection, storage, disposal, distribution and control of all authorised supplies and equipment
- Planning operational department budgets
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Management
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in tendering and contract management
- Strong leadership, people development, negotiation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Oracle or other relevant ERP systems
- Previous experience within a hospital or healthcare environment will be highly regarded
