We now have a position available for a passionate Podiatrist to join our Metropolitan Community Services team. The position is a Fixed term part time role (0.4 FTE).
The Podiatrist is responsible for prevention, diagnoses, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders, of the feet and lower limbs. This incorporates assessing and reviewing client and resident function, safety and independence to participate in life tasks in community and residential environments.
The Podiatrist is a professional role within Metropolitan Community Services – a team provides a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of clients in regions of Metropolitan Adelaide.
To be successful within this role you will have strong experience in assessing and evaluating functional needs of clients and supervising staff involved in the provision of podiatry services. Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills including the development and delivery of presentations is critical to the success of this role.
Current registration with AHPRA as a podiatrist is essential.
