Medacs Healthcare are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse - Corretional/Forensic/Psychiatric Mental Health to join our client’s team within the West Melbourne close to the city. My client is looking for someone on a Permanent basis.
What you will be doing?
Providing psychiatric nursing services to the patient population at a correctional facility. Principally, this position involves patient treatment management, crisis assessment, developing risk management plans and engaging the patient in developing their mental health recovery plans, referrals, discharge planning and liaising with external stakeholders
What you will need?
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Hold a relevent Post Graduate Diploma/Citificate as a minimum
- Minimum 5 years’ similar nursing experience post-graduation
- Satisfactory National Criminal History Check prior to commencement of employment.
- Excellent Written Skills
- Excellent communication
- Experienced computer & IT skills
- An up to date resume
