Do you want to be part of a family focused, progressive, innovative Maternity Service?  Exciting opportunities exist at Western Health (Sunshine Hospital) for highly experienced Registered Midwives with outstanding clinical abilities and a willingness to develop their own skills and knowledge to work in the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP), inclusive of publically funded homebirth.

Women’s and Children’s Services at Sunshine Hospital provides quality maternity care for in excess of 5,500 women per year within a diverse community across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

Our MGP model is client focused and utilises a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to maternity service provision to women of all complexity across the childbearing journey. Midwives work in a  group practice carrying a caseload of approximately 40-45 women a year.

If you have experience working across the continuum of maternity care and are keen to progress your career providing continuity of care to women and babies this could be the opportunity for you.
