This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and can use their initiative.  You will have excellent organisation and communication skills, along with the ability to take ownership over all tasks.  It is essential that you have excellent time management skills and treat all of your work with the highest level of confidentiality.  
 
Key areas of responsibility include:

• Reception duties including meet and greet patients, take all incoming calls and book patient appointments
• Open practice ready for the day
• Book theatres and communicate pre-theatre procedures to patients
• Management of patient billing and receipting of consultations for doctors
• Support a team of specialist doctors and nurses 
• Dictaphone typing of reports
• End-of-day reconciliations and banking 

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 2-years Medical Reception experience (ideally from a specialist setting)
• Good computer skills and previous experience using Medical software programs
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent people skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals
• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Immaculately presented
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
