Medical Specialties Australasia was founded in 1982, is 100% privately and Australian owned and is a founding member of the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA).

We are a boutique, next generation, niche product, specialist company and have pioneered our success through the introduction and support of many first to market medical and surgical technologies into the Australia healthcare market over the last 36 years. 

We specialise in Interventional Oncology/Radiology, Vascular Access, GI Intervention and Diabetes. Our product range is split into three divisions and supported locally in each state by a diverse and skilled team with previous experience in companies such as Cook, Applied Medical, Synthes, St. Jude, Coloplast, Johnson & Johnson, Bard and Zimmer Biomet.

MSA boasts the best company culture in the medical device industry, recently receiving 9/10 in a company staff satisfaction survey. Sales positions in the company come up very rarely due to high staff retention. Our average tenure of curent staff is 6.1 years. 

Due to the expansion of our Diabetes Division, MSA is seeking a Company Sales Representatives to join our existing sales team in VIC / TAS. The successful candidate will beworking with the Cellnovo Mobile Diabetes Management System (the first and only micro/patch insulin pump available in Australia) and other emerging Diabetes technologies. You will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to contribute to company culture, a strong work ethic and perseverance to ensure sales success and the capability and proficiency to work autonomously and effectively with clinical healthcare professionals and patients.

Responsibilities for this position include to:

  • Plan, promote, sell and support your product range to Credentialed Diabetes Educators, Endocrinologists
  • Assist patients and their families
  • Maintain and build on positive existing relationships and business;
  • Develop new opportunities for growth.

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Proven successful sales experience in the Medical Device industry
  • passion for effectively communicating why our Diabetes devices will bring value to people living with Diabetes
  • A true customer focused presentation when representing yourself and the company;
  • The ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team, building on existing long term customer relationships.

The salary package offered consists of base salary + leave loading + car allowance + fuel allowance + performance bonus + KPI bonus + super. Computer, iPad, iPhone and other tools provided.
