Medical Receptionist / Administrator - Specialist Medical Practice
The role
We have an opportunity to join our growing Vermont South practice as a Medical Receptionist/Administrator, and assist with the usual medical reception and administration duties.
Part time 3 to 4 days per week. Rostered hours are typically between 8:00am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday (7.5 or 8 hour day).

Eye Surgery Associates (ESA) is a renowned group of sub-specialist Ophthalmologists delivering the highest standard of care to patients. We operate from four state of the art consulting suites in Doncaster, East Melbourne, Malvern and Vermont South.

Whilst based at our Vermont South rooms the successful candidate may be required to travel between sites on occasion.
Position Requirements:
- Cert III Business Administration (Medical), Medical Terminology or similar is desirable.
- Previous experience in specialist consulting is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrated professional attitude and presentation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with proven ability to work under pressure, multi-task and maintain quality outcomes at all times.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external clients.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the appropriate legislation, policies and procedures, particularly as they pertain to medical practices.
- Computer literate, intermediate level use of M/S Office products, and experience with practice management software. VIP.net experience highly regarded.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable car.
