Full Time -  12 Month Maximum Term Contract

South Western Sydney PHN (SWSPHN) is a not-for-profit health organisation which aims to create an effective, innovative and integrated health system for South Western Sydney.

About The Role

The Contract Administrator is a part of the Commissioning Team and their duties are key in ensuring effective systems are implemented that control the way a SWSPHN contract is prepared, analysed, negotiated, registered and monitored for compliance.

Due to expansion and maturing of commissioning, the role provides an opportunity for the successful applicant to support the improvement of health outcomes for people of South Western Sydney through robust and comprehensive service procurement and contract management strategies.

About You

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Understanding of contract administration principles within health care, public or commercial environments that apply to Australian law, including knowledge of procurement framework processes and legal issues and risks associated with contracting
  • Demonstrated experience in contract review, negotiation, drafting, preparation and administration
  • Excellent computer skills (including word processing, spreadsheets, data entry into a database and email)
  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues to deliver shared outcomes, as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Current NSW driver’s license and access to comprehensively insured vehicle.
