We seek an experienced Occupational therapy assistant to join our lifestyle team at our modern 81 bed facility in suburban Canning Vale.
The candidate is required to have Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle, a Cert III/IV in Aged Care would be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience in diversion and dementia therapies would be an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to document effectively together with moderate to good computer skills is preferred.
The core responsibility is to facilitate morning & afternoon therapy based life enrichment activities over a weekly program meeting individual assessed needs. An understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation system is expected.
You will be working with a friendly proactive team to achieve the best outcomes for our residents.
Hours - Monday to Friday 10.00 am to 5.00 pm with a 30 min upaid lunch break. Flexibility around workload demands wold be appreciated.
Some annual leave cover may also be required
