We have been approached by a leading women's support service provider in ACT to assist in the recruitment of an AOD Case Coordinator on a permanent basis in Canberra. The organisation offer a wide range of support services to vulnerable women, the position works across a number of specialist AOD services including; day programs, residential services and an outreach program. The organisation have excellent working conditions including a 9 day fortnight, 5 weeks annual leave (with 20% leave loading), early long service leave and a TOIL provisions.
Role
As the successful candidate, your role will be to provide case management support to women with AOD issues. You will:

Role
As the successful candidate, your role will be to provide case management support to women with AOD issues. You will:
- Undertake comprehensive client assessments, including safety and risk.
- Carry out alcohol and drug interventions underpinned by agreed strengths-based approach to treatment.
- Maintain a designated caseload, set priorities and monitor work flows.
- Provide accurate records of all aspects of support provided to clients including: case management plans, identified needs, priorities, goals, action, notes, or other relevant information or documentation to meet legal requirements.
Criteria
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Minimum diploma level qualifications in Community Work or equivalent field
- Experience working with women with complex AOD and co-morbidity
- Knowledge and ability to run groups for women with AOD issues
- A driver license is essential, pool cars are available
Further Info
In return, you will be offered a base salary of $68-73k + Super + the benefits of salary packaging. If you are more experienced then there is the possibility of being offered a senior Case Coordinator with base salary up to $78k)
The organisation also offer a 9 day fortnight, 5 weeks annual leave with 20% leave loading, TOIL provisions and excellent professional development opportunities.
