The Position

St John of God Midland Private & Public Hospitals has an exciting opportunity available for suitably qualified Physiotherapists to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidates will be required to provide evidence based physiotherapy services by observing, assessing, treating, recording and managing the progress of clients. You will also be required to plan and implement treatment programs for both individuals and groups, and be able to liaise and coordinate with other staff and agencies regarding management objectives.

Possession of a qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential for further consideration.

Consideration will be given to recent graduates looking to enter the workforce. Suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool and offered Temporary and Casual opportunities as per operational requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (including ability to communicate using technology).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and social determinants particularly relating to Aboriginal Health.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct learning, including identifying gaps in knowledge as well as appropriate strategies to address said gaps.
