- Calvary is seeking an experienced Pastoral Care practitioner to join our team on a casual basis
About the role
Pastoral Care is person-centred, supportive, compassionate presence for people at significant times of transition, illness, uncertainty and grief or loss.
Through reflective listening and empathic interaction, Pastoral Care practitioners assist people to connect to their emotional and spiritual resources, including inner strength, wisdom, hopes and beliefs.
What you bring
- Previous experience in a Pastoral Care role
- Understanding of the spiritual development of the other
- Minimum of one unit of CPE or equivalent
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
