ROLE/DESCRIPTION
- Support the production of high quality therapeutics with acceptable turn-around times
- Responsible for equipment calibration and maintenance according to laboratory policy and procedures
- Ensure manufacturing performance and reporting in compliance with the cGMP standards
- Maintain and develop a centre of excellence for cell therapy and responds to customer needs in an appropriate manger
- Mentor and coach a team of production operators and junior staff
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or other relevant disciplines
- Significant years’ experience working in human cells, tissues, plasma and/or blood components within cleanroom environment
- Recognised training and competence in cell culture techniques, aseptic media preparation, cryopreservation of cells and tissues, associated analytical methods
- Capability in troubleshooting manufacturing batches (CAPAs)
- Demonstrable ability to work in a team, multitask, mentor and coach junior staff
