Psychologist (Contract Position)
Evolve Wellbeing is seeking an expression of interest for an innovative and energetic Psychologist to become a part of our warm and therapeutic team of practitioners. We’re a busy Redlands practice offering Psychology and Psychotherapy services to the local community since 2008. Our healing space makes it a pleasure to spend the working day, with areas to wind down and engage in self care. We are seeking a Psychologist who can work autonomously and has previous experience and knowledge in working in Private Practice. Our practice provides a peaceful and flexible work environment; a broad referral base and options for administrative and clinical support.
We have a team of allied and complementary health practitioners with which we liaise as well as established referral networks to medical and transdisciplinary mental health practitioners.
This is a part-time contract position for the right applicant for 1-3 days per week that offers the potential for growth and greater responsibility in the business. The successful applicant will require the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, with flexible hours, and own ABN.
The psychologist requires full AHPRA registration (Generalist or Clinical), membership with a professional body e.g. APS; appropriate insurance, and eligibility to provide services under Medicare.
As a psychologist in our practice, you will be providing treatment services for adults, young people and their families for behavioural issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss. Post graduate training in CBT, ACT, Family/Systems therapy, and Solution Focused therapy is highly desirable, as is previous experience in a private practice or an organisational setting in the field of Psychology.
