This small but established residential aged care facility requires a natural leader. With new systems & processes being rolled out it is an exciting time.


The Opportunity:
This large aged care provider has proven why they are a market leader time and time again. Focusing on culture, they have worked hard to ensure that this is a 'want to work for' organisation. 
We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee this small, sixty -bed, residential home on Sydney's North Shore. Going through a transitional period you will help to roll out new systems, policies and processes. Rest assured you will have plenty of resources around you to utilise.


Role Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the NSW Operations Manager and ensure this residential facility runs smoothly
• Oversee this transitional period for the facility as you manage positive changes in key areas
• Drive great care and customer service for residents and families
• Empower your team, provide leadership and guidance
• Manage all day to day operations such as finances & budgets, occupancy, clinical governance, continuous improvement and the accreditation process

Qualifications & Skills required:

• Registered Nurse qualifications (AHPRA)
• Previous experience managing a residential aged care facility - Facility Manager/DON level
• Good business/ commercial acumen
• Ability to lead, mentor and empower your aged care teams
• Sound knowledge of aged care legislation, ACFI and the accreditation process
• Experience with continuous improvement
• A background or experience with Chinese culture would be beneficial (but certainly not essential)
• A passion for bringing together your team and providing the very best care and customer service
