Continuing our growth is the exciting new acquisition of Garrison Support Services for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Due to this expansion, we have a part time or full time Dental Hygienist role available, based across Sydney locations.

Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist, under the supervision and prescription of the Dentist/Dental Specialist, is responsible for the day-to-day provision of quality oral hygiene advise and dental hygiene services to Defence Personnel in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures.

To be successful you will:

Essential:

  • Be an Australian Citizen;
  • Hold or have ability to hold a baseline clearance;
  • Minimum of 2 years recent full time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist in the last 5 years;
  • Current unrestricted registration as a Dental Hygienist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA);
  • Recent participation in continuous professional development activities in accordance with APHRA;
  • Current licence for use of dental intra-oral radiography where required by AHPRA and relevant State legislation;
  • Current First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification;
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to patients, as well as being able to work independently within a dental surgery.

Additionally, the Dental Hygienist will be required to:

  • Conduct dental administration
