International SOS provides clinical staff to the Australian Defence Force (ADF) across NSW & ACT. Our employees play a vital role in ensuring our Airforce, Army and Naval personnel are both physically and mentally equipped to protect our country. What will you do?

  • Chair-side assistance to Dentists/Dental Specialists/Dental Hygienists
  • Promotion of oral health to patients where qualified
  • Take dental intra-oral/extra-oral radiographs where licensed
  • Implement infection control procedures within the dental surgery
  • Implement infection control procedures on the reprocessing of dental instruments and equipment
  • Pouring of dental models as directed, where trained
  • Manage patients in accordance with approved protocols
  • Participate in quality and governance improvement

 

What do you need to apply?

Looking after the health of our Defence Force, and proactively managing health issues is paramount! In order to do so, we require our applicants to:

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
  • Current first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years recent full time chair-side dental assisting experience.
  • Recent participation in continuing professional development activities.
