Our client is a not-for-profit organisation providing support & services to help people impacted by drugs, alcohol as well as mental health concerns within regions of QLD & NSW.
About the opportunity
Working within a multi-disciplined team in this 40+ bed residential rehabilitation programme within the Gold Coast region of QLD, this is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.
As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will join a supportive & client focused environment. This facility offers specialised nursing intervention to include group work, assessments & referrals, you will utilise your strong clinical skill set providing a high level of person centred care, to residents presenting with alcohol & drug dependency & a range of associated psychological & physiological issues.
Duties
- Provide advanced clinical care to clients with AOD dependency
- Evaluate & make clinical decisions
- Medication management
- Assess, review & update client care plans
- Admissions & discharge processes
- Accurate documentation & handover processes
Skills and Experience
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Experience within the Drug & Alcohol field
- Experience within the mental health field
- Current level 2 first aid certificate
- Excellent people and clinical skills
- Passion for providing high quality care
- Hard Working & Flexible approach to work
