Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Maternal child and Health Nurses to join the team at Bolton Clarke in our Bundoora Office.

The role of the Maternal child and Health Nurse is to promote and provide quality and effective service to pregnant, postnatal women as well as families and Children ages 0-5 years through telephone based interaction.

There are casual positions working a variety of shifts and hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Highly developed telephone based Maternal and Child Health clinical assessment, support and advice skills
• Extensive knowledge of National Maternal and Child Health Programs and an understanding of current practices, theories and values.
• Minimum two years’ experience. (Further consideration based on individual applicant’s previous experience)
• Advanced report writing and administrative skills to enable accurate recording of statistical data and reporting
• Awareness of the diverse social, cultural and religious backgrounds, of children and families.
• Highly developed negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills 
• Excellent computer skills
• Proven ability to work as a team and independently


Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse
• Midwife Degree - with Post Graduate Maternal and Child Health qualifications
