This Aged Care facility is located in Queanbeyan, NSW it is known for dramatic scenery, it encompasses steep cliffs, eucalyptus forests, waterfalls and villages dotted with guesthouses, galleries and gardens.
The Role
As the Clinical Manager you will provide care and clinical leadership to a large team. It is expected that in your role, you model contemporary clinical practice and are responsible for clinical governance at all facilities. Engagement with internal and external stakeholders is primarily focused on resident care outcomes. You will be the clinical interface with medical officers and allied health professionals.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge Required
Essential
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current registration with APHRA/Nurses Board
- Minimum of three (3) years line management in healthcare
- Understanding of clinical issues affecting service delivery
- Proven ability to develop significant stakeholder relationships
- Commercially astute and motivated to exceed business and service targets without sacrificing excellent care and service
- In depth knowledge of the Australian Aged Care system, including funding options, etc
