Surgical House is a family-run business that has been wholesaling and retailing healthcare consumables and equipment into the Western Australian market for almost 40 years.
We are seeking an experienced person to join our organisation and fill a permanent part time position (up to 20 hours per week) as an Accounts and Administration Clerk supporting the Finance and Administration team.
Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor you will be primarily responsible for the timely processing of supplier invoices, maintenance of price lists, matching purchase orders and relief reception.
To fulfil this role you will need to:
- Possess strong clerical skills
- Have a good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Resolve queries and undertake general accounting duties
- Be computer literate with above average skills in Word and Excel
- Engage positively with other staff within the organisation
- Have a friendly and confident telephone manner & switchboard skills
- At least 2 year experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a high volume invoice processing environment with well developed organisational skills and attention to detail
