About us

Offending Behaviour Programs (OBP) focus on reducing an offender's risk of re-offending. OBP makes a direct positive impact on the safety of the Victorian community. OBP uses interventions to reduce violence, to inspire motivation to change, to improve emotion management and to address other offence-related topics.
 

As a Senior Clinician, you will:

  • provide leadership and direction to a team of clinicians, including clinical supervision
  • facilitate the efficacy of group and individual
    program interventions
  • undertake risk assessment and prepare appropriate treatment pathways for offenders

To succeed you will have:

  • a desire to lead, mentor and develop staff to meet their full potential
  • experience in providing clinical individual and group supervision to clinicians
  • preferably at least two years' experience in delivering group-based treatment or therapy
  • the expertise in applying best practice principles within therapeutic interventions.

 

Registration requirements

To be eligible, you must either:

  • hold general registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA)
  • be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • be credentialed as a mental health nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or
  • be registered as an occupational therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

You are also required to hold a valid drivers' licence
