We are excited to be offering a rare opportunity to join our team of Super Star Dental Assistants. Our stellar team currently requires a clinical coordinator.

This role will be closely supported and mentored by the Practice Principal and General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management and training of the clinical staff as well as a variety of daily duties that will assist in the smooth running of this busy practice.

About the role:

  • Clinical Coordination; manage practice support staff, running weekly team meetings, liaising between the Practice Principle and General Manager and the clinical team
  • Dental Assisting; ability to assist with implant surgery, general dental treatment, cosmetic procedures and more; ability to train other team members in all procedures
  • High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly, light hearted manner
  • Stock liaising with the stock ordering staff member
  • Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic
  • Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
  • Implementing, monitoring and reporting of repairs and maintenance across the practice
  • The role will also include the rostering of staff and assisting with department training and career progression of the team members.

About you:

  • 4- 5 years’ experience in a busy dental assistant role, plus an eagerness to progress with your career
  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting; Certificate IV will be highly regarded
  • A keen eye for detail, strong time management & organisation skills
  • Excellent professional bearing, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate others
  • An ability to work within practice guidelines and procedures
  • Able to deal with multiple demands and concerns
  • Open to mentoring for career progression
  • HR/People management skills will be highly regarded
