Speech Pathologist- Full time & Part time roles
Grade 1 or 2 depending on experience
healthAbility is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologists. We have an ongoing vacancy of 0.6 eft and a 12 month fixed term role - up to full time hours. You will to provide a range of services to a mixed caseload covering adults, adolescents and children with a range of disabilities, communication, swallowing/eating or behavioural concerns.
You will demonstrate:
- High quality assessment and treatment skills
- Well-developed communication skills
- A commitment to person-centred care and evidence based practice
- Experience with adult and paediatric populations
- Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current Driver’s license
- Current Police & Working With Children Check as per healthAbility policy
As a member of our Allied Health Team, you will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dieticians, diabetes educators, family support workers, counsellors, psychologists and a neuropsychologist. Experience or an interest in working with individuals with complex and significant needs including Alternative and Augmentative Communication and swallowing concerns, will be highly regarded.
The Speech Pathologists are part of a large Allied Health team which includes both paediatric and adult services. healthAbility provides Medicare Benefits Scheme, private health insurance and full paying options for clients as well as services funded through HACC, Community Health and NDIS.
