The Role:
We currently have a full time, fixed term Grade 2 Educational Play Therapist vacancy at The Royal Children's Hospital.
We are looking for a suitably qualified Educational Play Therapist/Child Life Therapist to provide a comprehensive Educational Play Therapy service to children and families across Medical Imaging Department and contribute to a hospital wide approach to non-pharmacological pain management aimed at enhancing child and family capacity to minimise distress and anxiety within the hospital environment.
The applicant will have teaching and/or Child Life Therapy experience with extensive knowledge of play based paradigms. For a full description of the role including a list of selection criteria, please view the attached position description.
