Northern Health provides a diverse range of acute, sub-acute and community health services to the large and diverse population in the regions north of Melbourne. There are five campuses; Broadmeadows Health Service, Bundoora Extended Care Centre, The Northern Hospital at Epping, Panch Health Service at Preston, and Craigieburn Health Service.
We are seeking an experienced Consortium manager with the position spaning over four separate Victorian Health Services (Bendigo Health; Austin Health; Wimmera Healthcare Group; and Northern Health), while under the aegis of Northern Health. The position provides high-level support to the Consortium Directors of Physician Education and to the Consortium Management Committee.
The incumbent will have day-to-day contact with an extensive variety of staff, particularly Senior Medical Registrars and Basic Physician Trainees. The position involves some travel between the various health services.
The consortium manager will be located at both the Northern and Austin hospitals each week with days allocated depending on education activities.
