Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service are seeking to employ an additional GP to enhance the quality of services provided by their multidisciplinary team.
The aim of the position is to provide the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. To be committed to promoting health, wellbeing and disease prevention to all patients.
The applicant will be required to provide proof of current Medical Board Registration.
The applicant is required to provide their own Professional Indemnity cover.
Essential requirements
· Australian National Registration
· Vocational Registration
· At least five years experience in General Practice
· Commitment to improving the status of Indigenous health within the Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service area.
Desirable requirements
· Post Grad Qualifications such as FRACGP or equivalent
· Understanding of the National Aboriginal Health Strategy
· Strong Commitment to ongoing medical education
Remuneration
· Salary depending on qualifications
· No after hours or on call
· Monday to Friday
· 4 weeks annual leave
· 10 days study leave
· Superannuation costs covered by employer
