As the Assistant Regional Manager you will play a crucial role in providing support and leadership to a diverse team that includes Volunteers, Paramedics, First Aid Trainers and Administrative staff located throughout the region. This position has oversight of the Wheatbelt operational and commercial business and is responsible for supporting the implementation of key business strategies.
This role will be a member of a diverse team whose primary responsibilities are aimed at improving the accessibility to out of hospital care in country Western Australia. The position is based primarily in the Wheatbelt Regional Office located in Northam. However due to the nature of the position there is an expectation of regular travel and out of hours work.
What you’ll need:
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Experience with managing diverse teams in remote environments
- Strong negotiation skills, and confidence to work with people at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Hold a unrestricted ‘C’ or ‘CA’ driver license
- Hold tertiary qualifications in relevant field, desirable
- An understanding of the health services offered in Country WA, desirable
- Commercial savvy
