GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A PHARMACIST!
This pharmacy is 1 of 6 pharmacies operated by 1 group and is located in Hervey Bay QLD. Hervey Bay is a city in the state of Queensland, Australia. The city is situated approximately 290 kilometres or 3 hours' highway drive north of Brisbane QLD.
It is a natural bay between the Queensland mainland and nearby Fraser Island.
The local economy relies on tourism which is based primarily around whale watching in Platypus Bay to the North, access to Fraser Island, accessible recreational fishing and boating and the natural north facing, calm beaches with wide undeveloped foreshore zones.
This is a full-time Pharmacist or Pharmacist Manager role that will have you overseeing the daily pharmacy operations in this forward pharmacy setting. The staffing levels are excellent with a couple of other Pharmacists, a number of technicians and front of shop staff headed up by an experienced Retail Manager, which will allow the time needed to be providing standout service to your local community.
Roster is negotiable, but potentially 40 hours per week over 5 days.
For the successful candidate, responsibilities include but will not be limited to;
- Supervising all medicines are handled correctly;
- Ensuring prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with protocols;
- Oversee the day to day operations of the pharmacy;
- Counselling customers about medications and assisting with their queries.
In order to be successful, candidates will have the following skills and attributes;
- Fully degree qualified with current registration;
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience building customer relations through effective counselling and promotional activities in store;
- Reliable, with a high focus on delivering exceptional customer service;
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends (both Saturday and Sunday); and
- A high level of excellent communication skills.
