Do you want to participate in creating the best team possible whilst making a positive difference to the lives of our clients? You can do this as a team member within St Vincent’s Care Service (SVCS) Community and be part of an iconic name within the growth sector of Aged Care.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Home Care Employee on a Casual basis to join SVCS Community.
Successful applicants will share a genuine desire to care and assist clients with a strong person centred care focus.
To be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate:
- Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care or similar qualification (essential);
- Previous experience with Autumn Care (desirable);
- An ability to provide personal care, in home respite, daily living activities and social support;
- An ability to support the well-being of the client through the professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties;
- An ability to observe and report client’s status;
- An ability to follow directives as per can plan;
- An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
- Great time management, bedside and communication skills;
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
