The role

  • Join our existing team of 5 administrative staff and a practice nurse to provide a silver platter medical reception service to both our 10 clinical staff (including 7GPs) and their patients
  • 2x PT staff (9.5h/week & 19h/week) required
  • Casual staff also required (4h shifts Mon-Sat + holiday/sick leave cover)

Essential Qualities

  1. Minimum 12 months experience working as a medical receptionist
  2. Warm, friendly, courteous and professional with a genuine desire to assist both patients and staff
  3. Able to adapt to clinic specific protocols and deliver these with a high level of precision
  4. Impeccable integrity and outstanding productivity and work ethic
  5. Current Working With Children Clearance

Desirable Skills

  1. Experience working in General Practice
  2. Proficient using Best Practice or similar software packages
  3. A strong understanding of billing including Medicare items numbers, EFTPOS, Medicare Easyclaim
  4. A clear understanding of differing consultation types (eg  Health Assessments, GPMP, procedures) and the differing booking protocols required for each
  5. Current CPR certificate
