Our Commonwealth Government client is seeking an experienced Project Officer with a background in law or commerce to work at the APS 5-6 level in their Melbourne office. Experience in education will also be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of tasks related to educating the public about a new law. The successful applicant will be required to engage with a range of stakeholders to identify communication and education strategies designed to influence behaviour. The successful applicant will also be required to write various papers for senior members of the public service and undertake research.
The successful applicant will possess demonstrable research, analytical and strategic thinking skills. The successful applicant will also be exceptionally organised. Project management skills will be an advantage. Of course, outstanding oral and written communications skills are essential.
The position is located in the Melbourne CBD. Eight hours per day are expected, but our client facilitates flexible working arrangements. The salary is between $67,667 and $80,026 per annum, based on experience, plus 9.5% superannuation.
