Temporary VPS5 Project Manager Job in a prominent State Government Department based in Glen Waverley.

The role of this prominent state government department is to support Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy and healthy lives. It does this by supporting lifelong learning and healthy development, strengthening families and helping to equip people with the skills and knowledge for a 21st century economy and society.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for the development of the Lillydale and Upper education plan, drafting briefs creating high level reports, correspondence and responding to requests for information from the Minister's Office and Executive team. Liaising with the VSBA in relation to the community engagement component. Promoting and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Authority and across the Department.
What you'll need to succeed
You are an experienced Project Manager, ideally with expertise in project management, stakeholder management, project development. Previous state government or public sector experience is preferred.
- Educational background would be of advantage
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong writing skills
- Must have analytical ability be detail focused and flexible
