About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage a Business Project Manager. This position is located in their busy Canberra office with an initial 6-month contract with possible extensions available. 
  
About the Role 
As a Business Project Manager, you will work under limited direction and be accountable for undertaking a range of project management activities. You should be able to work in a small team and assist with the coordination and delivery of a new user interface for non-government schools.

Duties

• Business scheduling and reporting 
• Secretariat support when required
• Analysing and managing requests from internal stakeholders
• Manage project risks and issues
• Balancing priorities and escalating as appropriate
• Development of project documentation 

  
Requirements/Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Well-developed written communication skills 
• Ability to work under tight timeframes in a complex environment
• Have the ability to work under minimal supervision 
• Previous experience with Waterfall/Agile
