What you'll be doing


To lead a team and supervise the day-to-day operational activities within Patient Support Services at the site of responsibility.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination
 
This is a NSW Health Category A position. All Category A applicants must read, understand and agree to comply with Policy Directive PD2011_005 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Diseases. Preferred applicants must provide evidence of protection against specified diseases prior to appointment and medical practitioner costs to determine protection is covered by the applicant.
 
Preferred applicants must also participate in a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) prior to appointment.
 
 
You will be asked to complete psychometric assessment (e.g. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in the operations of cleaning services and/or patient support services
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and develop solutions for day-to-day challenges in an operational environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sound written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate quality assurance and customer service principles into day-to-day operations
  • Understanding of basic business and financial concepts to day-to-day work
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and professional standards in the areas of food safety, infection control, cleaning, and work health and safety
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Window-based programs, such as Word and Excel, and the use electronic devices
