A large Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Cabinet Liaison Officer for a period of 6 months. This position requires a high knowledge of Cabinet processes with prior experience in whole of Government processes and systems.

The duties of this role will include but are not limited to:

• custodian of Cabinet documents within the Department;
• manage Cabinet information on the CabNet and CabNet+ Viewer systems;
• facilitation and coordination of the circulation of Cabinet documents to relevant line areas for action and follow-up responses;
• coordination of the provision of Cabinet Briefings to Ministers;
• provision of regular reports to the Executive on Cabinet information; and
• liaising with the Cabinet Division and CLOs from other Departments/Agencies on Cabinet operations and matters;
