About the NDIA

The purpose of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is to implement the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability. The NDIA will also provide great benefit to the families and carers of Australians living with a disability. About the Position

As part of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Corporate Services and Chief Finance Officer Group, the Strategic Procurement Branch delivers enabling services across all NDIA business areas.
The Director Strategic Procurement is a key leadership position and is responsible for the provision of strategic procurement advice and guidance across the NDIA.   The Director Strategic Procurement  will have the ability to lead a high performing and cohesive team that is geographically dispersed across a number of sites and the proven ability to translate strategy into operational goals through application of high order leadership, problem solving and engagement skills.
Key responsibilities include reviewing team and business performance, development and delivery of corporate reporting, assessing and managing risk, identifying and capitalising on opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, the ongoing development of the procurement skills, capabilities and competencies across the NDIA, and ensuring the NDIA’s procurement and granting activities align with the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework.
