About the Position
The Inventory and Procurement function sits within the Food and Beverage (F&B) operations pillar and is responsible for the effective management and operation of stock control, inventory processes, purchasing, and compliance of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
Reporting into the Operations Manager – Food and Beverage, the Inventory and Procurement Manager will also ensure the smooth operation of accounts and tender management, continuous improvement of systems and programs, and ensure to build exceptional relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant professional qualification in supply chain management or logistics or purchasing or similar discipline.
- Extensive experience in procurement, warehouse and inventory management (within a hospitality environment will be highly regarded)
- Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proven experience in managing a small team
