Project Engineer - Civil Works Projects

Fixed Term Full time

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Engineer within the Civil Works Projects team for one year with the possibility of extension depending upon retirement planning within the organisation.

The successful applicant will project manage the planning, design and the delivery of capital works projects including road reconstructions, road resurfacing program, sporting facility upgrades, drainage upgrades and other community asset  constructions and reconstructions, ensuring quality outcomes in accordance with Latrobe City Council and community expectations.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal confidently and positively with community members, contractors, internal departments and other authorities.  You will work within a team of professionals who are dedicated to achieving excellence in the delivery of high quality, sustainable community infrastructure projects.

To be considered for this role you will need to have an approved tertiary engineering qualification and a minimum of two years of Project Management experience, preferably in Local Government.
