The Team Leader Active Space is responsible for leading Manningham Council’s internal sportsgrounds, parks maintenance staff and external contractors to develop and maintain high quality active spaces throughout the municipality.
The ideal candidate will have:
- demonstrated experience in a supervisory role related to sportsgrounds and parks maintenance.
- demonstrated experience in leading, motivating & developing employees in a team environment.
- experience in the management of employees, contractors, plant and materials for effective service delivery.
- a sound knowledge of sportsground, horticultural and parks maintenance procedures, including the necessary plant/equipment relevant to these areas and a demonstrated ability to lead and use this knowledge in the field.
- experience and knowledge of environmental management procedures and principles.
- highly developed written and oral presentation skills, including the ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
- a commitment to customer service and displaying Manningham’s values.
