Happy new financial year, and new financial year means new opportunities and this role is no exception. One of my favourite clients are after an information/data analyst to join their team on an initial 5 month contract with possibility of extension.
About the role
Working in the information analyst role, you will be part of a team that supports and encourages growth and development. In this role you will have many responsibilities that will cause your days to be varied, challenging and interesting. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Preparation of ongoing reports and recommendations
- Responding to ad hoc requests and queries
- Ensuring data extracted and presented compliance with legislation and department procedures
- Maintain and develop relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Provide analysis that contributes to policy discussions
About you
This is great opportunity to work as part of a key government department.
- You will need a strong statistical background with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge of Excel, Salesforce, SQL, and visualisation software’s
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You will need to be able to present statistical output in a clear and conscience manner
- Be able to work efficiently to meet tight time frames
- Previous government experience is advantageous
- Understanding of safety data would be helpful to hit the ground running
