An excellent career opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, capable, suitably qualified and experienced person to join the dynamic Gunnedah Shire Council team as Director of Infrastructure Services. Reporting to the General Manager and as a member of the Executive Management Team, you will manage a broad range of Civil Engineering projects including construction and maintenance in the areas of roads and other transport assets, water and waste water, stormwater and public facilities. This position is based in Gunnedah and is critical to the success of Council.
To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience in providing leadership at a similar level in a multifunctional organisation. Your understanding of Civil Engineering will be matched by an extensive project management background. You will possess strong communication and people skills which will ensure effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
