Ambulance Victoria (AV) is now recruiting for 2 x Finance Partners to join the Planning & Corporate Finance team. These are full-time, permanent positions based at AV's Doncaster Headquarters with travel to our Blackburn North HQ as required
The Finance Partners will provide financial expertise and associated support services to the AV Divisions, including, budgeting, forecasting, planning and business advice. The roles are instrumental in aligning Divisional requirements with Central Finance requirements and developing strong, effective, constructive working relationships between Finance and the Divisions.
AV offer competetive remuneration for this role, bewteen $115k - $131k + Super dependant on the competencies of the successful candidate.
About the role
Reporting to the Planning & Corporate Finance Manager, the main duties of the role include:
- Establishment of a partnering relationship, working closely with Divisional leaders to understand their finance requirements
- Provide strategic financial business solutions underpinned by pragmatism, commercial and financial realities, and a shared understanding of AV's performance priorities.
- Provide input into the design of commercial and financial strategies across Corporate Services and allocated Divisions.
- Align and embed various standard financial methods, frameworks, systems, models and calculations, into Divisions to assist in the decision making process.
- Provide advice, support and information to the Divisional Executive Directors and Departmental Managers on commercial and financial matters.
- Provide detailed understanding and explanation on all aspects of Divisional commercial and financial matters.
- Provide ad hoc financial modelling, costing, analysis and related advice to AV stakeholders on behalf of the Planning & Corporate Finance team.
About you
The successful applicant will have a CPA Australia or ICAA membership, approved tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or commerce, as well as demonstrated significant knowledge and experience working within a complex business environment in a financial and commercial role.
The sucessful incumbent will also possess strong stakeholder relationship and interpersonal skills, be an expert in financial modelling (Excel) and accounting systems, able to use data extraction tools and formulae, have experience in management and reporting of financial issues in a large complex organisation, and be able to provide sound advice to strategic decision-making.
