Local Government council searching for experienced project coordinator for long term contract

Your new company
One of Australia’s fastest growing municipalities, this innovative Council is focused on changing the way they engage with their community for the better. This contract position will sit within their Community Development team and support the launch of a Community focused program.

Your new role
As a Project Coordinator your responsibilities will be, but not limited to;

• Monitoring and reporting on project progress
• Secure the continued support of key stakeholders
• Manage identified project risks
• Develop targeted communications material and lead a Marketing Plan
• Ensure milestone timelines are met
• Develop a pilot evaluation plan and begin collecting benchmark measures
• Secure recurrent program delivery resources

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will have relevant qualifications in Community Development or Project Management, a proven track record delivering projects with community focused outcomes. Working to tight project deadlines, you will have previous experience in community engagement or consultation, excellent internal stakeholder management skills and drive project outcomes. Local Government experience would be highly desirable.
