The key objective of this role is to provide a range of general horticulture/grass maintenance and labouring support to work teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with general horticulture maintenance duties on a scheduled or as directed basis.
- Assist with the general upkeep of trucks and other major machinery used by the work team.
- Assist in the completion of all paperwork associated with the position in a tidy and timely manner.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Current General Construction Safety "White" Card
- Current QLD Manual Car ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence
- Sound understanding of a range of fundamental skills associated with horticulture industry practices
- Ability to communicate with staff and supervisors
- Ability to work and participate in a small team orientated work environment
A Certificate III in Horticulture would be highly beneficial.
Salary & Benefits Package:
- Salary range from $47,320 plus applicable allowances
- Choice of 4 or 5 weeks’ annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
- Up to 18% superannuation contribution (conditions apply)
- 9 day fortnight roster
